A very fine mint NH collectioj from 1948 to 1999 in two Lighthouse stocbooks. Pakistan collections of this quality and completeness are seldom seen. The country has never had a strong collector following in the US. The stamps are quite distinctive, represent events and personages important to the people of Pakistan, and are issued in reasonable quantities from year to year. These are the hallmarks of a good country to collect. Many of the modern issues have good topical appeal. The photos show representative parts of the collection, which is quite complete for the period, including the Bahawalpur issues. |
