| BUYING!
We are eager to buy almost anything philatelic, including stamps, covers, postal stationery, first day covers and air mail covers, whether individual items, collections or accumulations. Our intent, always, is to pay fair prices and to treat you as we would like to be treated. We do not play games with our customers, whether buying or selling, so rest assured that any offer we make will be a serious one aimed at making you a happy seller. If, as occasionally happens, we cannot use your material, then we will be glad to refer you to a dealer who might be a buyer.
It’s always best to email us (20thonline@comcast.net) or give us a call (719-598-7307) before sending material to us for possible purchase. We can then discuss our interest in your material, alternative ways of shipping, packaging, insurance on the shipment, and so on. You will be advised promptly by email or letter of the receipt of you shipment and we will also contact you in a timely fashion with our offer to purchase.
Please contact us before putting a lot of time into cataloging your collections or preparing anything more than a general, descriptive inventory. It is sufficient to tell us, for instance, that you have a US collection mounted in a Scott National album, mostly mint stamps, rather complete after 1920. No need to identify every stamp or provide a detailed inventory. Similarly, a “box of several hundred unaddressed US first day covers” or “mounted collections of Canada, Germany and Falkland Islands” are sufficient descriptions to determine our interest.
